Crunch under foot, crisp cold air in the nostrils. Sliding along the tracks. I was in Helsinki for a winter and it was magical. At minus 40 the air froze the moisture in my nostrils as it hit, no open mouth breathing recommended. No bugs to shoot too, though there are plenty of ice formations. :) And other things only snow reveals.
