Prints – Contact
This labour of love of mine is financed out of my pocket and through sales and donations – not a lot. If you would like a print of any of my pictures let me know and we’ll determine exactly what you want, in terms of size, quality, mounting and matting, framing and of course price. You can have them cheap or museum quality – to last over a hundred years. It’s up to you and I don’t mind either way.
I regularly print up to 60cm by 90cm and will print bigger on canvas if necessary. What you see in my images is what you get, though I can always make minor adjustments if necessary or desirable. To see what I’ve got on this site click on the ‘Titles‘ page, or over on the right under Recent Posts for the latest, and click a few links. The more recent ones are the best, usually. Or see below for easier viewing.
Material can be edited for publication if it is being paid for. I am not interested in Stock applications per se, only where there is a respect for nature inherent.
All communications are welcome, email me at contact (at) beingmark (dot) com — Mark

You can also flip through a few (nine or so) hundred low resolution images at these links, nothing is catalogued : POSTED2 – 3 – 4 – 5
The last one, Posted 5, is still being added to regularly.
A lot of my images are not on the web.

I don’t do freebies unless ‘everybody’ involved is also giving their time and expertise for nothing. Also see above …

the pictures are a wonderful reflection of nature . I do some macro work and perhaps only on one occasion have I achieved the clarity and the “shine ” that you achieve I understand that the FZ50 is a fixed lens . can you tell me what you use for the Kiron lens and achromatic lens and what if any post production you do
I wish that I could donate to your work but am in dire straights myself , and my photography is the joy of my life after a major heart attack , I am even more absorbed in the magic of the world. my thanks for opening my eyes further
Thanks Ron. I rarely use the kiron because of the extending mechanism that really isn’t good for macro at short working distances which is what you get with achromats on it, and most creatures don’t hang around for the time to get it right, nor like a lens approaching and retreating, plus it’s often a one hand job with the other occupied in stabilisation. It’s all in http://beingmark.com/macro-illustrated/ I go into the PP somewhat but it is basic. I use Picasa on JPG’s from the cam and spend about 20 seconds on each unless it deserves more time and has some flaws – to my eye – that warrant more attention. I also de-noise and sharpen in another program.
Never mind the donation, it’s there if someone is moved and can afford it, otherwise it doesn’t matter since I have enough for the simple life I live.
Best … M
