Rainforest Flower Weevil
I doubt that’s its actual name, though it is a weevil. It was more turquoise to my eye on the day than it appears here. Maybe the flash had an effect, or the sun.

Nature's Place 
Wow. A pretty little thing. I googled it since you mention that it looks turquoise, which is hinted at in your photo here. I love how it looks here but the google results show how bright its coloring is. It makes me think of jewelry.
Associative thinking, on nature, probably explains the look of a lot of the forms people ‘create’.
But it’s all in the common psyche anyway.
