    Lovely image, and a wise observation: “…a name tends to get in the way of seeing, a psychological filter of what is.” Labels are functional as a sort of shorthand, but also dysfunctional in just this way.

      True Cate, and who better than a recovering journalist to realise that. :-)

      Beyond the practical function of naming human nature has made it an obsession that generates a massive potential for delusion – the world we made and live in.

      Thanks David. Exposure can be a balancing act and the background can make a good one better in composition – nature is unmatched for variability.
