Sweetness …
That’s our nature, when you get up close and leave the emotion out of it. Sweet …
It’s sweet to listen to the rain fall on the tin roof, light at first then loud and strong.
Sweet to sit in the semi dark on a warm evening, nothing going on but the sense of things.
No need for anything else, no need to think about it …
The simple life, here and now.
For a jumping spider.

Wonderful!!! That Stick Insect photo is just amazing – his/her eye, and all the little finger-like bits around his/her mouth are fascinating. Thanks for sharing, Mark!
That’s the male all right. This is the female – https://beingmark.com/?s=face
Thanks Rose.
She’s beautiful too!
In her greyish way. :-)
Beautiful photos and words Mark!
Thanks Rose …
Back again.
This spider is quite common,. I see it on a bee’s hotel quite often. I think it’s eager to catch some of the flies which, try to put their eggs into the houses of the bees.
I once witnessed a jump on a winterfly and phozographed the result.
Yes, where there’s an opportunity there’s … a jumping spider.
A niche in evolution to be filled?! ;-)
A bite to eat? :-)
