Wonderful captures, many thanks.
Thanks Maria.
Wow, every time I open your photos, I am blown away into some different world! I like that dew on the eye balls. Will be looking at flies next time thinking about that. :)
If you watch them fly without trying to see you will know what it is to fly like a fly, at least get a sense of it. Amazing fliers.
Beautiful!
Yes, why not …
absolutely marvelous
Thanks Daniel.
Very nice, great colors and detail.
Thanks David.
Wonderful captures Mark :) I particularly like the two flies (flys?) have a confab on the same flower.
Thanks Lissa. A bonus fly? :-)
I have a fertile imagination – to me it looks like the boy fly looking on adoringly while the girl fly (coyly?) sucks nectar :)
The fertile imagination is always sprouting things, but unlike sense it often misses the fact. In the series of images it is a part of the left fly is merrily pooping away.
Ah that made me laugh. I thought they were little scale insects on the stem of the flower. Poop! How a male fly shows excitement??
Just what they get up to at night? No mystery … :-)
