Looks rather happy for being crucified ;-)
Crucified by an orchid. If such a thing could be.
😉
Simple. Elegant. Clean and clear – both the picture (as always) and the title and caption. Thank you for this continual reminder that the beautiful earth does go on, in spite of what us humans may be experiencing or processing. Your post calms me
Thanks Susan. That’s where this site and my macro started, as a reminder (to me) of the value of nature to peace of mind. That being, in the first instance, there is nothing man made in nature, nothing for the mind to run on with by association.
In other words, nature makes sense. And sense is not the mind of complication and unhappiness. I trust that makes sense.
Lovely!
Indeed … there is a simple love behind the apparently raggedy forms of nature.
Yes…you capture it so well…to me there’s something in the moments of an insect’s life that is so truly humbling and enriching at the same time and I guess it is a kind of love from the universe. Sometimes we humans don’t have the words but yours always ring true. Thank you for sharing.
It may be you are seeing the untroubled space a creature is or has, an innocence. It’s the same with babies, but different form and (potential) relationship of course, the same innocence. The insect doesn’t have the self reflection to get unhappy, and the baby hasn’t experienced enough to have gathered it yet.
Excellent picture! The colours in the background make the bug even more beautiful.
Thanks Almuth. Context and composition, make or break an image.
