Wasp

For this little creature what it’s all about is being wasp, no self reflection to interfere or confuse that simple state of being.
For this writer what it’s all about is realising that original state of being, before (and after) self reflection.
And the way to do it is simple, after all is said and done (the need for experience), stop reflecting self.
By reflecting something else, or nothing at all. There is a way.
Not easy … but simple.

I think these creatures have a very low level of consciousness.
Magpies recognize in the mirror that they have a bruise and try to remove it.
Attempts have been made to break this down to lower animals what has been dubious up to now.
An insect’s struggle for survival when it is grabbed by the hornet looks like it is trying to save ITSELF. Otherwise these would only be pure automatisms, which of course would also be possible.
I swear, this ant/wasp? was talking to me, really … But human automatons? Could it be? I look around me and … :-)
A poem and a portrait, thank you.
Thanks Karen.
Wow! That’s one hairy little wasp. Fantastic detail in your shots.
It is indeed, and detailed …
